Change is in the air

Hello Folks,

I'm back after all these days or should I say months !. It feels a bit strange to resume blogging after bit of a gap. In fact a little shocked to see someone comment on my blogs. I tried to follow the link the gentleman had mentioned in his comment and guess what...it turns out to be a spoof. Never mind.

Last few months have been quite interesting and eventful. Changing jobs has never been easy. This time around it's been particularly difficult to leave a good team behind. But as "they" say, like all good things come to an end...I had to move on. On the flip side, it amazes me when people make a living out of "chaos".....yeah "chaos", after all it isn't that bad a word coz people thrive on it. "Chaos" that's caused due to "Red Tape", "Struggle for Power". Millions of dollars going down the drain. 

I've never been able to get around this whole "IT saves organizations a lot of money" thing, coz I haven't seen it happening. The only time I felt good about IT was when I hit the "Google" search page or when I reserved a ticket on Indian Railways website. Some of us have become so innovative that, instead of solving the actual problem, we put more processes around the problem making it ever more obscure and difficult to understand.

Strangers may not get a word of this...but guys in my circle will surely know what I'm talking about. Anyways, wish you luck !.
