Boy what a road trip it was !. Driving 450 kms when it's pouring cats n dogs was quite a challenge. I've been on road trips before, but this one turned out to be very different from the others . Totally, unplanned and almost an instantaneous decision. And when we set off, boy what an experience it was. Tell you what, rural India is just amazing. Country side, greenery, amazing landscapes, it's all just too good to be true.
I got the opportunity to re-visit the place I had lived some 14 years ago. There's so much happening in cities and yet this place so untouched. Still the same, slow life, an eiree calm. House we'd lived in, is now empty. Don't know what happened after we left. It seemed like people had stopped living in that house years before. Recounting all those moments I had spent in that town to my wife sent down tickles through my spine. Quite an experience !. A nostalgic one too.
Anyways, long weekend's over...back to business :-)
